The Nemo Vortex is a fast inflating, high capacity pump sack that will have your sleeping mat fully inflated in no time. It packs down really well and weighs very little.

Our Verdict

Nemo’s Vortex Pump Sack is a sleeping mattress pump with a huge capacity that enables it to fill your mat in a few short goes. It’s easy to use, all you need to do is connect the pump to the valve on your Nemo mat, allow air into the pump sack and then squeeze or roll it to inflate. It only takes a few pumps to inflate a mat, so expect around 5 for a larger mat. 

This pump sack is much quicker than many others yet still packs down to an amazingly small size if you take the time and effort to roll it up properly at the end. The durable 20D fabric is much more robust than may of the other lighter weight options but for a reliable, hardwearing alternative the Vortex is certainly worth the few added grams.
